KINGSVILLE, Texas – The Texas A&M-Kingsville women's tennis team is back in action at home this weekend as they host the Javelina Jam.
The team is coming off a solid performance at the Islander Open in Corpus Christi, Texas against a gauntlet of Division I competition. Senior Milou ter Morsche secured a second-place finish in her flight while freshman Isabel Neumer had a great Javelina debut, finishing fourth in her flight.
Alessa Maier also bounced back from day one to snag a fifth-place finish in flight A. Luna Jokanovic and Raina Zaffar found victory in both singles and doubles play as well.
Joining the Javelinas in Kingsville this weekend will be a mix of competition from Division I and Division II with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, St. Mary's, Prairie View A&M, and Angelo State in attendance.
The action kicks off on Friday at 9 a.m. at the Javelina Tennis Courts and continues through Saturday.
