GREENWOOD, Ind.- The Collegiate Sports Communicators Academic All-District Baseball teams were released on Tuesday, with redshirt sophomore Ramsey Amador and junior Shelby Becker each receiving recognition.

The College Sports Communicators select the All-District teams and recognize athletes for performances both on the field and in the classroom.

Amador was selected after posting a 3.73 GPA in Business Management while performing as the everyday third baseman. He started 45 games, delivering 30 hits, four doubles, and 17 RBIs for the Pack.

Becker received the award thanks to a 3.66 GPA in Accounting and a season that saw him start 40 games at first base. The Giddings, Texas native, drove in 26 runs for the Javelinas with six home runs and 12 doubles. Additionally, Becker hit .322 across the season, walking 13 times and crossing the plate 29 times.

Both represent first-time honorees, as the Javelina's last selection came in 2021 in the form of Seth Spinn, who was the fifth athlete in program history to receive the distinction.

Amador and Becker will now advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballots, with those awards scheduled to be announced on Wednesday, June 7.
