The James H. Clement Rehabilitation and Trainer Center at Texas A&M-Kingsville opened its doors in 2000.
The center is a joint venture of Texas A&M-Kingsville and Christus Spohn Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation.
The building provides physical therapy and rehabilitation for student athletes and members of the community who need specialized care but cannot travel great distances in order to receive such care.

The structure is 6000 square feet and the weight room is 4300 square feet. Plate-loaded and multi-use equipment is used in the facility and it can be employed for therapy or development.

The building, which was financed through private donations, is named for James H. Clement, who moved to Kingsville in 1947 and worked for the King Ranch in many capacities. He served as president and chief executive officer of the ranch from 1974-87 when he was elected chair of the board. He was instrumental in transforming the King Ranch from the world’s most famous cattle ranch to a multi-national corporation.

The center is located north of the east stands in Javelina Stadium.
In addition to the weight room, the facility also includes a conference room, an office, equipment storage space, restrooms and display cases.
