He won the school’s Big Stick Award after batting .434 on the season. He lettered in four different sports at Memorial HS and earned TAPPS First Team All-State honors as a defensive back in football. He led the baseball team to a bi-district championship. He is an Eagle Scout and a member of the National Honor Society.
