2009: Rios ran the 400-hurdles and 400-meters for the Javelinas. She had a season best time of 1:08.26 in the hurdles at the Texas Twilight (4/18). She was part of a fourth place 4x400-relay team at the LSC Championships.

High School: Rios competed in volleyball, basketball, softball, track, and power lifting at Runge HS. She was a four-time all-district honoree in basketball, a three-time all-district honoree in volleyball and a state champion in power lifting. She was part of state runner-up and state championship track teams at Runge HS. She was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Rios is the daughter of Alejandro and Juanita Rios and is studying Sport Management with a minor in Mathematics.
