Morales to Join Volleyball Staff |

KINGSVILLE, TEXAS – Former Texas State volunteer assistant women’s volleyball coach Joseph Morales will join the Texas A&M-Kingsville volleyball staff starting on August 6 as the team’s assistant coach. Morales worked with the Texas State program in 2011 and helped the Bobcats to a 27-8 record, a Southland Conference regular season championship and a SLC tournament championship. With the Javelinas he will serve as the top assistant under second year head coach Tanya Allen. Morales is a 2006 Texas State graduate and played three years of men’s club volleyball at the school. He earned a Master’s degree in Sport and Athletic Adminstration from Gonzaga University in 2009. Prior to coming to Texas State, Morales was the head coach of the 17s and 18s teams at River City Volleyball Club in Spokane, Wash., before he served as an assistant coach at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa for a season. #### pr12291smm |
