Alvin CC Transfer Signs with Javelina Softball
KINGSVILLE, TEXAS – Alvin Community College utility player Carynn Gonzales signed with Texas A&M-Kingsville softball and head coach Ricki Rothbauer on Thursday.
Gonzales is a San Antonio, TX native who attended Judson High School where she played softball under head coach Theresa Urbanovsky. She earned first team all-district honors as a senior and second team honors during her junior season. She led the team to a bi-district championship in 2009 and also played on a Select Softball State Championship team during the same year. She followed up her high school career with two seasons at Alvin Community College.
Gonzales is the daughter of Steve Gonzales and Rachel Garcia and is undecided on her field of study.
