Men's Basketball to Play UTEP |

KINGSVILLE, TEXAS – Texas A&M-Kingsville head men’s basketball coach Pete Peterson announced that the Javelinas will be traveling to El Paso on Friday, November 5 for an exhibition game against UTEP. The game starts at 7:05 in the Don Haskins Center. The Miners are coached by former NBA head coach Tim Floyd and are coming off a 26-7 season that saw them lose to eventual national NCAA Division I Runner-Up Butler in the NCAA Tournament. The Javelinas went 13-14 last season, their first losing season since 2002-03. The six consecutive winning seasons is a school record. The Hoggies open the regular season at home against St. Edward’s on November 16 at 7 o’clock. #### pr10231-smm |
