KINGSVILLE, Texas – The Texas A&M-Kingsville football program added one final contest to the 2018 schedule following the removal of the week one contest against Central Washington in a release back on April 30.
The Javelinas will now face New Mexico Highlands on Sept. 29 at Javelina Stadium with kickoff set for 7 p.m. CT.
The Hogs were originally slated to face defending national champion Texas A&M-Commerce on the road for the third week of LSC play, but will now face the Lions at Memorial Stadium on Thursday, August 30, at 7 p.m. CT to kick off the season.
The addition of NMHU brings the 2018 schedule to 11 games with seven at Javelina Stadium, with the two-year total up to 14 home contests.
Fans will have an opportunity to see TAMUK football in action for a month straight this upcoming season as the Javelinas will play four home games in a row starting on September 22 against Eastern New Mexico and culminating with a game against Midwestern State on October 13.
