What is the Javelina Club?
The Javelina Club is the primary fund-raising arm of Texas A&M University-Kingsville Athletics. The Javelina Club mission, through its fund raising efforts, is to support scholarships and recruiting while enhancing academic support services and facility improvements. Their efforts enhance our graduation rates, further our championship legacy, and bring perpetual pride to South Texas, our fans and alumni!

Why should I donate to the Javelina Club?
Private support is essential to the success of the Javelina intercollegiate athletics program. The Javelina Athletics Department is an auxiliary funded entity. Revenues supporting Javelina Athletics include:

• Generous contributions from Javelina alumni and fans
• University student fees
• Corporate sponsorships
• Revenues generated from event attendance

These sources of funds all assist athletics to operate and provide student-athlete scholarships. The Javelina Club provides a way for individuals to help talented young people receive a quality education from Texas A&M University-Kingsville while ensuring the Javelina legacy and tradition of athletics excellence continues to grow.

What benefits do I receive for becoming a member of the Javelina Club?
The Javelina Club is dedicated to providing an exciting and rewarding experience for its members. Javelina Club members receive a variety of spirited membership benefits based upon their level of membership which include, but are not limited to an auto decal, invitations to Javelina Club functions, priority seating options for football and much more. A portion of all gifts are tax deductible. Benefits reflect a donor's total contribution tabulated from July 1 through June 30 annually.

Is my donation tax deductible?
For 100% tax deductibility of your annual gift, you must decline your rights to receive any benefits at the time you make your gift. Major gifts or contributions not associated with ticket priority are 100% tax deductible. Only the individual or company making the gift is eligible to take the tax deduction. Your Javelina Club membership contribution is tax deductible according to appropriate IRS laws, rules and regulations. Please consult your financial advisor for current tax implications and giving options. All gifts are gratefully acknowledged by the Javelina Club and Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

How do I become a member of the Javelina Club?
You can become a member of the Javelina Club by donating at any of its Membership Levels, Lifetime Levels or by various other options. There are a variety of ways to join/support the Javelina Club. Please refer to our Ways to Give page.

What happens if I do not return my season ticket application and payment by the deadline?
Due to increasingly high demand for Javelina Club priority seating, the deadline will be strictly enforced in 2009. It is essential that donors renew their Javelina Club membership at the same donor level classification (or higher) in order to retain the priority necessary to renew their season ticket and priority parking locations for the 2009 football season.

If I join the Javelina Club before the appropriate deadline(s) am I guaranteed a football season ticket option?
Yes. All who join the Javelina Club by the appropriate deadline(s) will be guaranteed their priority season ticket option.

My company has a matching gift program. What do I need to do to make sure their matching gift is applied to my annual donation?
Complete your application in full and provide your company's matching gift information. If necessary, contact the Javelina Club and we will assist you in your matching gift request.

Is parking guaranteed to all donors?
Parking is limited at Javelina Stadium. In order to improve your chances of receiving reserved parking for the season, please have your Javelina Club gift and season ticket order forms submitted prior to the priority deadlines.
